Health Systems Planning and Analysis
The Health Systems Planning and Analysis Unit focuses on the issues and processes that affect all or most Health Department units. It is responsible for functions such as policy and procedure development, program and funding analysis, and departmental coordination for contracts, grants, and other issues of a department-wide nature. The key focus areas of the unit at present time are:
Contract Management-- responsible for all policies, procedures and standards governing contract standards, development and processing.
Grants Development-- responsible for central coordination and tracking of all grant applications and identification of new resources for the Department.
Systemwide Planning and Coordination-- responsible for projects that cut across department units including coordination of service, project management, policy development and representation of the Department on citywide committees or workgroups.
