Mental Health Services (continued)
If you need assistance with an involuntary psychiatric commitment call:
Intensive Case Management The Case Management Unit helps to find needed medical, social and educational services for adults and children who have a serious and persistent mental illness. Services include helping individuals find and enroll in available programs, ensuring the client is receiving proper medical and dental care and helping families find community support groups. Intensive Case Managers make contact with their clients once every 14 days.
Resource Coordination Resource coordination involves the same activities listed for Intensive Case management, but Resource Coordinators make face-to-face contact once a month with the adult or child. These services are traditionally provided to clients with a less serious mental illness.
Family Support Network The Family Support Network provides information about support groups and counseling programs for families. Anyone can access this network regardless of insurance or income.
