Martin Luther King, Jr. Day March
January 18th, 2010 - District Attorney Seth Williams joined students, clergy members, business people and local residents as they marched down Broad Street on Monday afternoon.

The group of several hundred people paid tribute to the work of Martin Luther King Jr., while also drawing attention to the changes that still need to be done. Organizers believe the march demonstrated how the city can come together in peace and love, and hopefully initiated a continued movement for civility and justice in Philadelphia. Among the colorful sea of students that participated in the march were members of South Philadelphia High School. Some of those students were victims of recent racial tensions at the school.
