DA for the Day

The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office participates in the annual PAL (Police Athletic League of Philadelphia) Day at City Hall. Nominated high school students who belong to PAL compete by writing an essay and interviewing for a spot in a shadowing program of high ranking city officials.

This year's recipient of the DA of the day award is Nadira Tarboro, a senior at Central High School and a seven year member of the Cozen PAL center.  Nadira hopes to attend law school in the future and feels the number one problem in Philadelphia is the accessibility of guns and drugs.
