Addiction Services
There are several missions of Addiction Services: - prevention and treatment services are appropriate and responsive to the needs of citizens, ensuring the implementation of recovery principles, emphasizing cultural competency, trauma informed, with clients having a choice in their pathways to recovery and that they have a voice in the system;
- the system is responsive to changing substance abuse trends; smooth transitions within the network;
- the care delivered conforms to highest established standards;
- the funds supporting the system are maximized.
Additionally, the SCA maintains linkages with government, human services, and other agencies involved in related services, planning, and/or advocacy activities. Together they provide a broad range of expertise to an ongoing planning and service delivery process.
