Renovations were made to Cellblocks A, C, D, E, F, and G for overall operating system and architectural deficiencies. The scope of the engineering/design phase included design of the electrical modifications as it pertained to replacement of main distribution panels and breakers, as well as branch feeder cables for cell blocks, as required, the installation of a new transformer for increased capacity, the removal and replacement of the branch wire with new wire in existing conduit system for each cellblock as required, the installation of new security lighting fixtures in each cell and day space, the installation of new receptacles and switches in each cell, and the installation of smoke detectors. 

Additional scope included the design of the mechanical modifications to the HVAC system, design of plumbing modifications including shower room modifications, and installation of water pressure reducers. Further, design of the inmate laundry facilities in the cellblocks together with all related mechanical, plumbing and electrical utilities the design of the architectural modifications, including those to allow inmates access to cellblock laundry facilities. Finally, design the repair of doors, door locks and gates in cellblocks, as required, and removal and replacement of window units in cellblocks.
