The mission of the Fairmount Park Team is to oversee Capital projects of Farimount Parks 9,200 Acres throughout the City of Philadelphia. This includes the areas along the Schuylkill River, Wissahickon River, Pennypack Creek, Cobbs Creek and many other areas and individual plaza, parkways and parks throughout the City. It continues to be The Fairmount Park Commission's and our privilege to undertake improvements to enhance the park system throughout the City for all Philadelphians to enjoy the natural and man-made elements safely for years to come.
