2012 BULLETIN BOARD CONTEST

PROGRAM PURPOSE
Every facility in the Department should have a bulletin board that catches the public's eye and introduces the facility to the public. The bulletin board can be decorated to emphasize March events, such as Spring, Wind, Kites, Baseball, St. Patrick's Day, or the birthdays of famous people.

PROGRAM AND DATES

All facilities are encouraged to participate. Leaders must notify their Visual Arts Chairperson if they wish to participate. The chairperson will arrange a district level competition if there are more than five facilities participating. The district's top five (5) facilities will be entered into the citywide competition. Please notify Valerie Arhondakis at 215-683-1997 which five facilities are entered by Wednesday, March 7, 2012. The dates and approximate times that the facilities in your district will be judged will be distributed through the District Manager.

DATES

March 7th     District Chairperson submits top five (5) facilities in district to Citywide Level

March 12th   Citywide Judging begins (Scheduled days will be given in early March)


   
AWARDS
All facilities that participate will receive a certificate of participation. Winners in specific categories will receive certificates.
