PHRED THE PANDA
 Phred the Panda is the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Department's mascot and he is also our goodwill ambassador who appears at many recreational events.
Phred has appeared at such events as the Mummers Parade, The Broad Street Run, the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Fort Mifflin and P.R.P.S. Conferences.
Phred will celebrate his 23rd birthday on June 25, 2012.
Phred the Panda was created by the Animatronic Bear Company which sponsors many of his appearances.
