STEPS TO ACCESS A RECREATION CENTER
GROUPS
1. Call or visit the center.

During the fall, winter and spring: most centers operate between 2 PM and 10 PM. Some have limited hours on Saturdays.

If an answering machine picks up your phone call, please leave a message. Often, staff members are not in the office; they may be instructing a class, working on the field, attending a meeting or on another assignment. We do not have receptionists or secretaries. |
2. Identify yourself or the group you represent.
3. Explain the type of activitiy you wish to conduct. A. a one time special event (holiday celebration) B. ongoing program (dance, crafts, sports, etc.)
4. What area of the building do you want to use? (Meeting room, gym, field, etc.)
5. Policy can vary from center to center. Some items to discuss include
1. permit application process 2. donation to Advisory Council 3. financial report: if fees are collected 4. activity run in conjunction with Advisory Council 5. set up and clean up
