We hope you had an opportunity to use the new and improved way to create Philadelphia Campaign Finance records; an application called the Campaign Finance Smart Client.  Now we would like to hear from you.

You are encouraged to attend a Filing Process & Smart Client feed back session on Thursday, June 28 (from 11am to 1:30pm) in order to provide feedback to the filing process and suggest improvements or enhancements to the process and Smart Client application.

The Campaign Finance Smart Client is sponsored by the Philadelphia Department of Records, and was released to support Campaign Finance filing process. The purpose of the software is to allow Candidates, Committees, and Lobbyists to enter and maintain their official Campaign Finance records and view and print Reports and Statements using the their computer.  It can also be used to export to text files as specified by Pennsylvania Department of State.

The Campaign Finance Smart Client can be downloaded from or can be obtained from the Philadelphia Records Department located in Room 171 at City Hall.

Although the Campaign Finance Smart Client provides functionality to support filers it is still the Filers' responsibility to ensure that the correct information is filed.
