Levick Street Gateway Beautification Project: April 21, 2012

Community Life Improvement Program partnered with Verizon, the Major Artery Revitalization Committee (MARC), Councilman Henon's Office and the Police Athletic League to beautify the Levick St. gateway between State Road and Keystone St. The project included planting flowers and shrubs, painting a mural and a general clean up of the area.

Snow Removal Operations

Thanksgiving Day Parade Clean Up, November 26, 2010

After the conclusion of the 2010 Thanksgiving Day Parade, crews from the Graffiti Abatement Team provided their power washing services by removing the temporary parade emblem at Eakins Oval.

Holmesburg Tree Tenders Project, November 20, 2010

Medal of Honor Grove Clean Up, October 10, 2010

The Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services assisted the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 39, and other volunteers in cleaning the Medal of Honor Grove in Valley Forge Park. Carmella Playground Clean Up, October 9, 2010

The Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services assisted the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department along with City Year and hundreds of volunteers in cleaning Carmella Playground on Saturday, October 9, 2010.

Mt. Moriah Cemetery Clean Up: June - July 2011

Crews from the Vacant Lot Program worked at the cemetery for several days and removed tons of short dumped trash, cleared hidden paths and headstones that were overgrown with weeds, cut down brush, trimmed trees and shrubs and even hauled away an abandoned vehicle found at the site.
