Philadelphia Parks & Recreation regulates the installation of decorative streetlight banners on light poles at park and recreation sites. Parks & Recreation does not provide funding for banner installations, but we can assist with choosing appropriate banner locations at a park or recreation site. Banner designs are regulated by City of Philadelphia code and must be approved by Parks & Recreation staff and the Philadelphia Art Commission.
Fabrication and installation are coordinated through the Center City District using approved vendors. Banners cost between $250 and $350 each for fabrication and installation.
Banners may only promote non-profit events/groups. Commercial sponsor’s logos are allowed, but logo size is limited.
