Have Your Say

The Mayor’s Office of Transportation and Utilities (MOTU) would like to thank the thousands of Philadelphians who provided us with comments and feedback on possible station locations. MOTU continues to meet with community groups this winter as we finalize bike share station locations for launch later this spring.
From September 19 through October 20, 2014 colorful decals decorated the sidewalks at potential bike share locations, the result of a partnership between bike share and the Mural Arts Program. The decals invited passersby to comment on potential station locations via text message.

The City of Philadelphia finalized a survey initiative surrounding bike share station planning in December 2014. Over five weeks, we received around 10,000 public comments on 95 potential station locations via an online map, in-person surveys, and text message surveys. We held two all-day open houses at the Gallery at Jefferson Station and at 30th Street Station in November to discuss the results. The report is now available.

Contact cara.ferrentino@phila.gov and aaron.ritz@phila.gov to invite a city representative to your next community meeting or to learn more about the program.

Station planners are still finalizing station locations, and a draft map is available at rideindego.com. Keep checking the website in the coming months for announcements about final station locations, membership options, and launch plans.
